Ladies, You Need a Plan
Women are often the backbones of their own families, frequently focusing on meeting the needs of others rather than their own. However, it is important for women to take care of themselves through financial and estate planning designed to provide for their own future needs, which may differ from those of their male family members, as well as family members who may be dependent on them.
Don’t Leave Your Minor Children’s Future to Luck
One thing that parents should never leave to luck is providing for their minor children. Young parents work hard to create a wonderful life for their children and pass on wealth to them in the future, but they also need to create a plan for their children’s care if something happens to them. If you are a parent, it is difficult for you to think about having your young children grow up without you, but you need to recognize that lack of planning for this possibility could be disastrous for your children.
Slicing Your Estate Planning Pi(e)
National Pi Day is a great occasion to come to our office and discuss how you would like to slice your financial pie when you pass your wealth on to your children and loved ones. No complicated mathematical formulas are necessary to determine whom you would like to leave your money and property to, but it is an important subject that requires some serious thought.
